Best Ergonomic mouse to date July 29, 2010 Viktor I bought this mouse about 3 years ago. I liked it so much that I bought another one for work. The construction quality is great, it feels solid. It's reliable and precise and of course, very comfortable. I use it 10 hours daily, 5 days a week. Contrary to my experience with other self-denominated "ergonomic" devices, this one have not created any discomfort after that much use. It's also Linux/OS X/Windows compatible. No drivers needed. I highly recommend it.
Good for wrists, bad for thumbs July 4, 2010 Opampman (California) This mouse certainly reduced my wrist pain. However, even with the small version, it ended up hurting my thumb.
Good quality, good price February 17, 2010 WINNER not whiner If you have wrist/elbow pain, or carpal tunnel syndrome, you can try using this. I tried because of tennis elbow, caused due to improper posture while handling mouse. This is of good quality and definitely the change of position relieved the pain associated. PROS: * Encourages the movement of shoulder and whole body instead of just the hand or the wrist * Game device like hold My suggestions: * Become ambidextrous (using both hands) * Switch hands for a few days while using mouse * Change to a natural, pain-free position * Build up the muscles in the forearm
Pricey but worth it January 28, 2010 David Ray (Dallas, TX) This mouse helped resolve my wrist pain. I hurt my wrist bowling but it just would not get better. It seemed that the rotation of the hand and wrist to use a conventional mouse - thumb down, hand counter-clockwise - kept irritating the tendons (or whatever... I'm no doctor). I got this mouse and a keyboard with some curve in it. I really think it was instrumental it getting rid of my pain. I continue to use it. It takes a bit of time to get used to it but a day or two was about all it took. It is a little hard for fine work but most common mousing it is fine.
An absolute must if you have wrist problems December 14, 2009 M. Haroon (Dallas, TX) If you have wrist problems, you owe it to yourself to try out this mouse. Yes, it's not wireless, and it doesn't look very pretty, but using this mouse for a few months relieved my wrist pain so much that it virtually disappeared. I was at a stage where I was almost completely unable to use a regular mouse or touch-pad. I was desperately looking for a mouse that would help me use a computer because that's how I make my living. I came across this mouse, and even though the price tag was a little steep, I bought this mouse. Using it only for a few weeks made a big difference in my wrist pain and numbness while using a computer. After a year of exclusively using this mouse, my pain virtually disappeared and I was able to use my touch-pad and other mice again. I also recommended this to quite a few friends who had wrist problems and they all reported positive results. If you have a wrist problem, do not wait and get this mouse!
