Good mouse overall with some disadvantages August 13, 2010

The kaleidoscope effect is really a crowd pleaser. However, I do wish there was a way to turn it off because it's quite bright at night. I ordered this mouse as a replacement for an exact same one that broke after about two years of use. The one I received also looks a little different from the one in the picture.

I absolutely adore this mouse. It came with a laptop bag that I bought, but I would definitely pay for it. It's the perfect size for my hands, as well as my young kids' hands. The retractable function makes is very portable. And I love the fun colored lights! If this one ever conks out of me (I've had it for six months, and it shows no signs of slowing), I would definitely buy another one. I know all mice serve a specific purpose, but why can't it be cute and fun at the same time? Men, don't worry, the colors are vibrant and not pastel. You can use it with confidence!

The cord is 2.5 feet long. That sounds like a lot, but it is too short to be useful for a desktop. It's hard to find good corded mice these days, and I'm sorry to say, this one didn't fit the bill for me.

This Targus mouse is just plain FUN! Not only does it do all the "mouse like" things we've come to expect from a mouse.... it GLOWS while it's doing it. It adds a fun dimension to everything you mouse. Now I must add this is called a "mini" mouse but it isn't as small as most of the "mini" mouses (or is it "Mice") and is very comfortable and lightweight. I use it with my notebook and it's very easily added to the bag as I load up for travel. :)
